Hiking

Møgeltønder is one of the oldest towns in the country and therefore a very original piece of Denmark. There are many well-preserved listed houses, especially in the picturesque Slotsgade. If you are looking for red bricks, small louvered windows, thatched roofs or red tiles, then you will find some of the most interesting houses in Denmark here.

Hiking

Møgeltønder is worth a visit. The place consists almost entirely of Schackenborg Castle, the church and Slotsgade (Castle Street) between the two. Although the place is so small, it offers an ideal image of a Danish (Schleswigian) village with the partly quite old, well-preserved houses decorated with flowers on the cobblestone street.
