One of the longest power quays in the world
The success story of the Bremerhaven container terminal began in February 1968 with the groundbreaking ceremony for a 700-meter-long quay. After a total of four expansion measures (most recently Container Terminal 4), the impressive port facility has grown to a total length of almost five kilometers. The longest continuous river quay in the world offers 14 berths for large container ships. As the fourth largest container port in Europe, Bremerhaven is one of the most important transshipment points for intermodal transport in imports and exports.
