Hiking
The nature reserve "Lampertheimer Altrhein" was designated in 1937 as one of the first nature reserves in Hesse. It consists essentially of two sub-areas, namely the island "Biedensand" and the southwest bordering, mainly consisting of grassland "Bonnaue". These are separated from each other by the actual Altrheinschlinge, the "Raul Ravine". Due to different degrees of watering, it offers a variety of habitats. Source: lampertheim.de
