Hiking
This imposing bell was cast in memory of the peaceful revolution in 1989 from 4 tons of armored steel from the Dessau workers' combat troops.
Great idea! But why is it hanging so unreachably high that you have to write the inscriptions on an information board in order to be able to experience them? Peace and freedom are definitely not so shy that no one is allowed to get closer ...

The contrast with the peace bell could not be greater. On one side the town hall and on the other side a socialist housing complex with the shopping center next to it. There is also the monument to Gorbachev, who made reunification possible.
