The Cap d'Antibes Tour immerses you in a coastal landscape where wild nature meets luxury. You'll walk along an uneven, sometimes narrow limestone path with steps, winding through pine and olive trees, revealing hidden coves and panoramic views of the Mediterranean. It's an experience that allows you to admire both the rocky cliffs and crystal-clear waters, as well as the opulent villas overlooking the sea, such as the stunning Villa Eilenroc.
This easy hiking route, spanning 4.9 kilometers with only 38 meters of elevation gain, can be completed in approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes, making it ideal for almost anyone. Sturdy footwear is crucial due to the rocky and uneven terrain, which can be slippery. To fully enjoy the experience, avoid the midday hours in summer due to the lack of shade, and be aware that the path may close in bad weather or strong winds.
Also known as Sentier de Tirepoil (Hair-Pulling Path) due to the winds that often blow, this trail follows an ancient customs officers' route, adding a historical touch to your walk. It is part of a Natura 2000 site, highlighting its ecological importance, and offers a unique blend of protected nature and exclusive properties. On clear days, the views extend to the Côte d'Azur, and sometimes even dolphins can be spotted.
