Songavazzo is home to the first European lightweight reinforced concrete bridge built in Europe. It is the so-called Ponte Vecchio, an imposing 128-meter-long work capable of joining the town to Rovetta, throwing two large reinforced concrete arches over the Gera-Borlezza stream, twenty meters high.
