Hiking

At the village community center Ildehausen there is another stamp contact point for the Seesen village tour. Although it was completely destroyed in the Thirty Years' War, a 1000 year jubilee was celebrated in 1952. Other sights are the Protestant church and the fire brigade house in an old dairy. From the edge of the forest there are beautiful views far beyond Bad Gandersheim and Rhüden. We recommend a loop around the fire pond with water buffalo and a somewhat hidden picnic area.
