The Neue Ausspanne above Tambach-Dietharz offers sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers as well as opportunities to wax skis.
For friends of cross-country skiing, it is an ideal starting point for numerous tours. Sufficient parking spaces are available for a fee (3.50 / day). A worthwhile contribution e.g. for very well groomed trails.

Large car park with kiosk. Parking fee 3.50 euros. To be paid at the kiosk. From here the Bergsee trail to the Ebertswiese starts and in the other direction the trail to the lookout tower at Krämerod and Wachsenrasen.
