Hiking

At this point there used to be a large oak tree (Achela), which was very old and so damaged in a storm that it had to be felled. A new oak tree was planted and a beautiful wooden bench was made by a citizen of Burkersdorf, unfortunately the bench was stolen after just a few weeks. Now there is only a simple bench there which is also secured with a chain. Every two years, a big Achela festival takes place here at the beginning of May, next in 2024.
