After it was completed in 1611, the "van de bus" rifle guild, called Kloveniers because of their coat of arms, moved into the building.
The house was later used by the Oostindische Compagnie (VOC) until 1795. After the occupation by French troops, it was used as a military hospital from 1795.
In the meantime, a grand cafe, cinema and outdoor catering in the garden have been accommodated in the building.

The magnificent, former Schützenhaus (Kloveniersdoelen) of the shooters of the shooting club
>> Van the buses <<
from Middelburg, which was built in 1611 in the Renaissance style.
Today, the Schützenhaus is also used as a café and cinema.
A beautiful garden terrace is also available.

Hiking
Beautiful location that exudes history. You can strengthen your inner man here in the garden. Snack, drink sometimes that shouldn't be anymore.
