Maienhof (1576) Built as a representative residence for the Lords of Zweifel. Elements of the half-timbered design include curved St. Andrew's crosses, male figures, and an emphasised horizontal structure. From 1777 to 1785, it was the residence of Heinrich Cotta, the pioneer of German forestry. (Flyer "Historical city tour")
