The Schlägel & Eisen 3/4/7 colliery looks fantastic today! A beautiful park with headframes and other colliery relics awaits visitors. Naturally, several companies have established themselves here, just as they have on other former mine sites.
The "Schwarzkaue" (Black Bathhouse) is now a multifunctional event venue for concerts, theater performances, family celebrations, conferences, and seminars. There's also the "Kraftkaue" (Power Bathhouse) for physiotherapy, fitness, and athletic training. Outside on the meadow is the snack bar at the mine shaft, which caters to our culinary needs. Anyone cycling through Herten and interested in colliery nostalgia should definitely stop by.

There is a snack here. The currywurst with french fries is very tasty. For some time now there has also been a café with an outside terrace. There is also a small lookout point at the Schlägel und Eisen colliery. From there you can look over the well-designed park.
