Actually a retention basin, but meanwhile grown all around and not opened up by paths. Around the water, which is densely overgrown with reeds and marsh irises, lush wild meadows provide a habitat for countless insects and birds.
Update: In December 2022, the pretty ensemble was destroyed and all vegetation removed with massive use of machines and enormous ruthlessness. It will be years before flora and fauna return here, if ever...
