The "Schmugglerhütte", in the immediate vicinity of the historic border station Bayerisch Eisenstein, offers a rustic ambience for a break with warm dishes, snacks, cakes, or tortes. In the warmer months, there is a cozy beer garden. The specialties of the Dampfbierbrauerei Pfeffer brewery are served. The "Schmugglerhütte" is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 7 pm.

Spontaneously had dinner there. Rusticly furnished hut with delicious food like schnitzel or currywurst…. Fair prices. Really recommendable.
