The Zeldenrust is a mill in the Dutch town of Lith and dates from 1800. Around 1902 the mill was destroyed by fire. In 1977 the mill was officially reopened after a restoration. It is a round stone belt mill, with the function of flour mill. The hood is covered with roofing felt.

When you come to Lith from Lithoijen, the first thing you see is the old grain mill at the Lithse Dijk. It is called "Zeldenrust" and was built around 1800 on the old foundations of an earlier mill.
In the 20th century the mill was owned by the Eerd miller family. Since there was no successor to the last miller in the 1970s, the mill was transferred to what was then the municipality of Lith.
A blue pennant shows visitors that the mill is open.

How could they have come up with the name of the street? 😄 A mill on a hill, so it is a belt mill.
