Hiking

The attentive hiker, who is out and about early in the year, will find the rare March cup here in Schalkenbachtal, which is on the Red List as an endangered species and is under special protection. The flowering time is early, March/April, sometimes even as early as February.

Hiking

Very nice path along the Schalkenbach. Particularly well-known for the rare March cups that bloom here in spring.
