The Cusset hydroelectric plant is a hydroelectric dam on the Jonage canal, located between the towns of Villeurbanne and Vaulx-en-Velin, in the Rhône in France.
With an installed capacity of 7 MW when it was delivered in 1899 (today increased to 63 MW), it was then the most powerful hydroelectric power station in the world.
