Hiking
Fire Cave is a popular destination for photography, mostly due to the indirect reflected light that creates a red glow to the sandstone. Unfortunately the popularized photographed Windstone Arch (located in the "cave" area) has recently collapsed.

Hiking
Fire Cave is less a cave than a structure with small arches.

Hiking
Fire Cave is another highlight of the Seven Wonders Loop. It's beautiful to look at.
For me, too, Fire Cave isn't really a cave, but more of a rocky outcrop with two arches or pillars.
Note: May 15 to October 1, 2025, and probably every year thereafter.
Seasonal closure due to heat:
Fire Wave, Seven Wonders Loop, Pastel Canyon Prospect, Arrowhead, Pinnacles, White Domes, Charlie Springs, and Natural Arches Trails.
