The origin of the church probably dates back to between the 13th and 15th centuries, when the church had the small dimensions of the current presbytery room. The date 1454 carved there may refer to the moment in which, having expanded the arch of the presbytery, the new, higher nave was added and the current façade was built.

A beautiful Gothic church with a huge, highly unusual fresco on the façade. The interior is also spectacular. You wouldn't expect it in a mountain village.
