Hiking
Mollis has several old mansions and monuments of national importance and is now one of the preferred residential areas in the canton of Glarus. The preservation of monuments is carried out by private individuals, foundations and associations. The late baroque estate and house Haltli was built in 1784 by the merchant Conrad Schindler and today houses a special needs school for curative education, which is run by the Glarus non-profit organization.
