The 93 residents of Heidelheim have fulfilled their dream of living in the country. The idyllic village is surrounded by fruit trees, an avenue leads hikers to the village. Pretty courtyards are lined up around the village pond, on which ducks swim peacefully. Heidelheim has already received several awards in the "Our village should become more beautiful" competition.

Hiking

Heidelheim is a so-called spring basin village and was built around the two village ponds. Another special feature is the "Rechtler Garden", also located in the middle of the village, to which each farm in the village has certain rights and which is still managed jointly by the villagers today. Only two gardens of this type remain in Upper Franconia.
