This challenging route typically takes around 6 hours and 18 minutes to complete. You will begin in the open meadows of the Viote Plateau, known for its vibrant alpine flowers and unique peat bog. As you ascend, the path transitions through dense forests before reaching rugged, stony terrain. The highlight is encountering the distinctive red cliffs along Path 607, leading to the dramatic Red Rocks of Cornetto, where you can enjoy expansive panoramic views.
Planning your visit requires careful consideration for this demanding trail. The ascent to Monte Cornetto includes particularly strenuous sections. Be prepared for a brief exposed point and a steep scree section during the descent from Monte Cornetto.
