Cycling

The Heckenmühle, idyllically located on the Fulda River, has existed at least since 1618. After a devastating flood at the end of the Thirty Years' War, it was rebuilt by the then miller Curt Heckmann. It got its name Heckmühle, later Heckenmühle, from him. The weir dates from 1752.
