The imposing two-storey building with the richly decorated facade once served as the building of the "Imperial Post Office". At that time, the corner building was both a functional and a representative building. Inside it was functionally equipped with an anteroom, counter room and permanently installed mailbox; outside it represents the cultural institution of the postal service with pride and self-confidence in a prominent place. Today only the name "Alte Post" reminds of its former function.
