First of all, I wish you all a happy new year 2026! 🎉✨
Today I went on a varied and impressive hike.
I started in Aarburg at the public parking lot, from where the trail immediately climbs over 1000 steps, though there are actually 1150 steps in total. The ascent becomes significantly steeper, especially from about the last 900 steps: it gets much steeper, and the steps are higher, which takes a considerable amount of effort. But it's worth it, because at the top, a lovely barbecue area awaits, perfect for a well-deserved break.
