The Nieuwenhoven provincial domain is the largest public forest in Haspengouw (160 ha) where a well-maintained fish pond is located. Young and old can come and fish here from April to October between sunrise and sunset. The purchase of a fishing permit in the Nieuwenhoven visitor center is mandatory.
