The calorie path motivates hikers in a special way, because along the way there are funny boards informing about the calorie consumption to date. The varied path is about 7.8 km long and has 9 stations with the respective boards. As of 02/2021, panels 5 and 9 are missing. The starting point is Hersbruck Castle, easily recognizable by the turrets and the Franconian red and white painted shutters. One follows the "8 on green ground".
