Highly recommended route to and through the nature area "De Steendert". "De Steendert" is an attractive, quiet area with beautiful views. You can sit on a bench near the polder mill and look out over the lake.
The area is to be expanded and upgraded in the coming years. On the current grass areas, greater diversity will be created by forests and thickets. The open landscape around the ponds should be preserved.
