From here you have a great view of the tranquil Kunnersdorf. First mentioned in 1344, the small Saxon community developed from a mill site into a centre for cotton wool production. The production of medical cotton wool began here as early as 1856, followed later by the manufacture of technical textiles. Despite industrial development, the rural character has been preserved.
