Hiking
You can observe many birds of prey on the approx. 2 km northbound hike to the junction to the Schimmelbrunnen. An idyllic forest path leads uphill and downhill through the beautiful beech forest to the resting place at the fountain.
The legend goes about the Schimmelbrunnen: "If you keep a virgin company fetching water at the Schimmelbrunnen on the summer solstice, you can free the enchanted castle with a kiss".
