The Prince's Palace was built in 1673 by Johann Moritz Richter, the architect of Neu-Augustusburg Castle, and primarily served as the official residence of important court officials. The building reflects the Baroque architectural style. Above the main entrance are figures representing Minerva and Mercury. The English nine-panel ceiling in the ballroom makes the Prince's Palace unique.
