Hiking

“Shall we go and hear Hersch?” people used to say to their loved ones in Espenschied when they wanted to be all alone with her. The secluded benches with a view over the whisper forests were particularly popular for this... for listening to deer! And indeed, at the right time of year, you can experience the dueling roar of the deer on this hidden bank.

Hiking

Can you really hear the deer here?
In any case, you have enough time when you sit on the bench and let your gaze wander down into the valley over the Hansenwiesen. The bench (and a rotten previous version) are on the path between the rock pulpit and the refuge.
