Hiking

The wooden huts connected by small footbridges date back to the time of Austro-Hungarian rule and were built directly on a stream of small rivers. The farmers living here made flour from wheat. Today the mills are no longer in operation, but can be visited publicly. Currently it only costs a parking ticket for the car. 🥾🥾

Cycling

The construction of the mills goes back to the Middle Ages. Twenty such mills are located between the large and the small lake. They testify to traditional Bosnian architecture and are an important part of Jajce's cultural and historical heritage.
Because of the natural, historical and geological value of this landscape, the area was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009.
