Landgoed 't Zand, near Zelhem, offers a surprising piece of heathland in the middle of the varied Achterhoek landscape. This historic estate, which dates back to the Middle Ages, combines forests, grasslands and heathlands into a beautiful whole. In late summer, the heathland turns a beautiful purple, which gives the landscape an extra enchanting touch.
