The Ambrosius Cross is somewhat hidden in the forest next to the Horlachegraben. It is a replica of a medieval cross. It was built in memory of the monk who chased a stag he had wounded into the neighboring district, brought the stag back and was then killed by him during a dispute with the tenant of the neighboring district.

The cross is new. It was erected on the site of the medieval cross described by Riebeling, is very precisely worked and has grooved bevels around the arm ends and head, which end on the shaft just above the ground. It is called the "Ambrosius Cross".

Unfortunately, there are no signs on site about the history of the Ambrose Cross. Despite 2 benches, the place doesn't seem very inviting. The cross itself contains no inscriptions. At the foot of the cross is a weathered small triangular stone. There is an R on one side and an H on another side. The third page is blank.
