Hiking

Already in the Middle Ages there was a wooden church on the square in the village. That church was replaced in 1250 by a chapel, which in the period 1672-1798 was a barn church that served as a secret church for Catholics who could no longer practice their faith openly after the Reformation. The current chapel did not come into use until 1807.

Hiking

In the 12th and 13th centuries, there was already a wooden church on the square in Zandoerle. This first church was replaced by a chapel around 1250. After the Reformation, from 1672 to 1798, the chapel was used as a barn church. Roman Catholic services were held here.

The current chapel was put into use in 1807 and was restored around 1960.[1]

Since 1817, it has been customary to pray the rosary in the chapel.
