The "frame" marks the end of the Land Art trail near Bonstetten. With its grid-like structure, Hama Lohrmann deliberately directs the gaze into the landscape. However, this isn't simply about offering a beautiful view. Quite the opposite: the work obstructs the view and, precisely through this, draws attention to something important to the artist. Those who look through it quickly realize the strong desire to circumvent the obstacle in order to regain a sense of the bigger picture. In an increasingly fragmented world, the ability to see connections is often lost. The "frame" makes this loss visible.
