Spijkerbos is one of the rare forests in the Flemish Ardennes situated on a south-facing slope. It covers approximately 20 hectares. These forests often had to make way for fertile farmland or even a vineyard. But in Spijkerbos, you can still fully enjoy nature, which, weather permitting, is bathed in southern sunlight all day long.
