The old linden tree is surrounded by a bench. Great view of the Ammer Valley or the nearby Roseck Castle. Here you can take a break with a hearty snack. The shaggy Highlanders were not present at the end of December

Hiking

Taking the path past Roseck Castle, you reach the pasture with the Highlanders before the riding stables. The prehistoric creatures don't mind the hillside location. They are happy about the sun, the shade under the old fruit trees and sometimes have time under their sweeping horns to devote a curious eye to the hikers who stand above the path and look far towards the Alb or Spitzberg.
