Just a stone's throw from the famous Wieskirche, there is a small lake that invites you to take a refreshing break on hot summer days.

Hiking
The approx. 7 hectare lake is located 1.5 km southwest of the Wieskirche. The water is demarcated on its north side by a dam over which a paved side road leads from the Wies to Steingaden. Most of the lake shore is freely accessible and in summer you can also take a dip in the lake.
