The Mondine drainage plant is responsible for lifting the Reggio-Modena high waters. From the 10 outlets at the foot of the building, the water is sucked by 5 pumps, which lift it up to a height of 7.5 m and pour it downstream of the plant thanks to 5 pipes that accompany it to the bottom of the drain tank . It is part of the Reclamation Parmigiana Moglia. It is the first example in Italy of total hydraulic and agricultural reclamation. [
