    Before heading out, be aware that there is an entry fee required to access the Indian Canyons, where the Victor Trail Loop is located. It is always wise to prepare for desert conditions; remember to bring essentials like a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Starting your hike early in the morning is highly recommended to avoid the intense desert heat, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.     Before you head out, be aware that this trail is located on the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation, so an entry fee is required; it is usually $9 for adults. Parking is conveniently available directly outside the Trading Post. Remember to bring plenty of water, especially during warmer months, as sun exposure is significant on this desert hike.
