Hiking
The church in Gesten consists of a Romanesque choir and nave with a tower and church vestibule added later. Some of the pews and a servant's chair are from 1575. A beautiful field stone wall with a barrow surrounds the church.

Cycling
The church itself dates back to the 12th century. There were several additions such as the so-called "armory" (the entrance) and in 2014 the tower was also renewed. So actually there is now a very modern tower on an old church, the combination worked well here. Inside you can find some interesting details between old and new. The altarpiece shows the "Emmaus disciples". In front of the door, the cemetery is impressively cared for.
