The oxbow lake of Acqualunga (municipality of Borgo S.Giacomo) is a naturalistic area inside the North Oglio Park. It is a reclaimed area where once there was the old bed of the Oglio river. Today it is a pond where native species of passage nest (Kingfisher, Herons, anatidae, coots etc.)

Small but fascinating oasis inside the Oglio Nord Park. In spring and autumn it is a nesting and migratory area.
