Meikles Point Picnic Area sits along the Werribee River at the bottom of the gorge, making it one of the park’s most scenic picnic spots, with the river flowing past and steep gorge walls rising on either side. The area has barbecues, picnic tables, and flush toilets, plus a popular swimming hole nearby that makes it a favourite spot on warm days. It also serves as one of the two main trailheads for the Werribee Gorge Circuit Walk, with several other walks also accessible from here. There is no drinking water, so plan accordingly before you arrive.
