Hiking

Lime burning is an old building trade that required appropriate knowledge. Limestone was piled up in the ovens and heated for days at temperatures around 1000 ° C and converted into quicklime. Quicklime was previously used to whitewash walls and make mortar.
Many volunteers repaired the old, half-ruined lime kiln in 2015/2016 with the help of some specialist companies.
