For a few Swiss francs you have the opportunity to go up the bell tower and see Lausanne from above. The entrance and ticket office are on the right side of the nave after the entrance.
See picture for prices. During Corona times, unfortunately, mouth and nose protection must be worn in the cathedral. You can only get to the top of the tower via spiral staircases. The big bells, the architecture at the top and of course the view are definitely worth it.
