Gstaad is a village (Bäuert) in the Bernese Oberland. It is located at an altitude of 1,050 meters and belongs to the municipality of Saanen in Switzerland. The village center has been a car-free zone since 1998. Along the promenade, which was created by the bypass, there are numerous exclusive shops, restaurants, and hotels.
