Memorial with a special locomotive. In the 1950s, numerous locomotives of this series were equipped with so-called cabin tenders. This is where the train driver (not the train driver) had his place to do the paperwork. As a result, the freight train escort cars could be saved. Only very few locomotives with cabin tenders have survived. Here is a particularly well-kept specimen. A must for railroad fans.
