Mountain biking

The small watchtower made of wood and clay above Butzbach (near the Schrenzerbad) is a very worthwhile destination! Not just because of the great view!

The wooden tower on the Schrenzer Berg near Butzbach is one of the oldest attempts to reconstruct a wooden watchtower on the Limes. In 1898 the site near the well-preserved pile ditch was examined by the Reich Limes Commission, where there were two "inconspicuous" mounds.
